East Tennessee's go-to indoor ice rink in west Knoxville, Cool Sports is a full year-round sports facility with an NHL-sized ice surface plus two indoor turf fields (180x80 and 135x65). It's the only U.S. Figure Skating program in the area and home of the Knoxville Figure Skating Club.
What kids can do here: - Public skate sessions — check the online ice calendar, since public skate times shift around hockey games and camps. - Learn to Skate USA classes for all ages and levels. - Youth hockey with the Knoxville Amateur Hockey Association, leagues and clinics for kids as young as 4. - Figure skating pathway (Aspire program) for kids who want to compete. - Indoor turf — youth soccer leagues and indoor field rentals. - Birthday parties — climate-controlled private spaces with a sports atmosphere.
Located at 110 S Watt Rd in Knoxville, about a 25-minute drive from Maryville. Facility hours run roughly Mon-Fri 11am-11pm, Sat 7am-5pm, Sun 8am-10pm, but always check the live ice calendar for public skate times before you go.
