☕ Vienna Coffee House
- Kid-friendly corner
- Full breakfast and lunch menu
- Crustless quiches
- Breakfast sandwiches
- Coffee roastery
- Downtown location
Tucked away in downtown Maryville on College Street, Vienna Coffee House is my go-to spot when I need a caffeine fix and the kids need somewhere to hang out while I get some writing done. What I love most is that little kid corner they have set up – it's such a thoughtful touch for parents who need a break!
The atmosphere here feels genuinely local and welcoming. They roast their own coffee on-site (seriously, the smell when you walk in is incredible), and the menu goes way beyond just coffee – they've got crustless quiches, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch options that make it a real meal spot.
The downtown location puts you right in the heart of everything – you can walk to the Capital Theatre, browse the local shops, or grab ice cream after. I've brought the kids here a few times when we've been downtown for other activities, and it's been a reliable rescue mission every time.
Pro tip: If you're meeting friends and want to split the time between coffee and exploring downtown, this is the perfect home base. The staff is super friendly, and there's usually a bit of room to spread out.
Note: I know this sounds like I'm trying to convince people to spend more time downtown with their kids, but honestly, sometimes you just need a place to sit, have a coffee, and let your kids run free in a kid-friendly corner while you breathe for 45 minutes.
