A kid-friendly waterfront playground on Knoxville's South Waterfront, just a mile southeast of downtown across the Gay Street Bridge. Suttree Landing Park hugs the shore of the Tennessee River with a children's playground, a festival/event lawn, three accessible river overlooks, picnic tables, a pavilion with restrooms, and a public riverwalk. Families can bring scooters, strollers, or bikes for the wide paved paths, and there's an accessible put-in for kayaks and canoes if your crew wants to get on the water (check TVA lake levels for Fort Loudoun first). The park is open 24 hours a day. Picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout with views of the river and the downtown skyline. Free to visit.
