🔢 K-1 Number Sense Week
A five-day math path for children who are building a real sense of what numbers mean. Each lesson takes 10 to 15 minutes and uses ordinary objects.
Simple weekly rhythm
- Match one object to one count.
- Recognize written digits without turning it into a test.
- Compare two groups using more, fewer, and equal.
- Notice and continue simple patterns.
- Put small groups together to begin addition within 5.
Start with smaller numbers whenever your child needs them. Repeat a day instead of pushing ahead, and stop while the work still feels manageable. Cups, blocks, buttons, crackers, and crayons can do nearly everything this week.
