Levitt AMP Maryville Summer Concert Series: Free Live Music Every Thursday This Summer
Jack Greene Park on Lamar Alexander Parkway becomes the spot for live music every Thursday evening this summer, starting June 4. The Levitt AMP Maryville Music Series runs through July 30 with ten weeks of free concerts featuring everyone from local bands to Grammy winners.
The series is organized by the Tennessee Entertainment Commission through the Levitt Foundation, which funds free live music in communities across the state. Maryville is one of six Tennessee locations selected for the 2026 series, along with Dyersburg, Lawrenceburg, Loudon, McMinnville, and Shelbyville.
All shows are free, open to the public, and start at 7 p.m. The Greenbelt Amphitheatre is an open-air venue in Jack Greene Park at 300 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37801. There is free parking available.
The full lineup:
June 4 โ The Young Fables (country pop) June 11 โ Slap Dragon (bluegrass/funk) June 18 โ The Sensational Barnes Brothers (gospel/soul) June 25 โ Milk Man & The Big Band (funk/brass) July 2 โ Darrell Scott (country) (Grammy winner) July 9 โ Chatham County Line (Americana) July 16 โ Cedric Burnside (blues) July 23 โ J & The Causeways (soul/R&B) July 30 โ Wyatt Ellis (bluegrass/country)
This is one of those free things that actually feels worth the effort to drive to. Darrell Scott is a legit Grammy winner, Chatham County Line brings serious Americana cred, and Cedric Burnside is one of the best modern blues acts anywhere. The local picks โ Slap Dragon especially โ are bands that are genuinely fun to see live.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs, get there a little early to grab a good spot, and bring the kids. These shows are built for families. The sound is good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it is free. What is not to love about that?
If you cannot make it to the amphitheatre, the venue is visible from Lamar Alexander Parkway and the music often carries. You do not have to commit to sitting through the whole thing โ these shows are drop-in friendly.
The series continues to be one of the best kept secrets in the area. Free concerts with real talent, in a park setting, for basically zero cost. It is the kind of thing that makes Maryville feel like a town that actually takes care of itself.
