3rd Thursday Downtown Maryville Is Back: The Free Evening Art Walk Runs Monthly Through October 15
Every third Thursday, downtown Maryville turns into a free, walkable evening of art, live music, and live painting. The Downtown Maryville Alliance's 3rd Thursday art walk has been running monthly since April, and the 2026 season wraps up on Thursday, October 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. If you have not made it out yet, this is your last easy evening to wander Broadway, watch working artists, and hop between shops with the kids in tow.
It is exactly what it sounds like: an art walk. Local artists, crafters, and entertainers set up demonstrations and live painting inside many of the downtown shops and establishments. You walk from spot to spot, watch people actually making things, and it is all free — you only pay if you buy something or grab dinner.
